Nancy Spencer
Nancy is an expert in consumer understanding, strategic positioning and idea generation. She has pioneered new research techniques to uncover new, deep consumer insights and behavior discontinuity, leading to successful competitive product positioning. Prior to co-founding SpencerHall in 1996, Nancy was Group Vice President, Account Director/New Products, at Northlich Stolley LaWarre, agency of record for Procter & Gamblešs idea generation and new product strategic development, where she helped create several major new brands for P&G including FemStat, Dryel and Fit Produce Rinse.
Jonathan Hall
Jon has a proven track record in creating innovative concepts. Prior to co-founding SpencerHall, Jon was Procter & Gamble's Director of New Ventures for the Beauty Care sector. In this capacity, Jon led the creation and development of new products, including creating entirely new product categories, as well as discontinuous products in existing categories. Jon's concept development work established new records in pre-market testing, and his framework for consumer understanding was deployed worldwide. Jon's 14 years with P&G in Beauty Care Marketing included management of established businesses such as Sure and Secret deodorants and Old Spice.
Denise Anderson
Denise has over 13 years of experience in creating innovative new product ideas, developing positioning and identifying consumer insights. She has a proven ability to listen and connect with consumers to uncover unique consumer needs and insights for developing new product ideas, concepts and new technology. After receiving her MBA from Duke, Denise worked for RJR Nabisco, S.C. Johnson & Sons, Inc., and The Coca Cola Company. She has brand marketing and new product development experience with a wide range of brands and product categories such as: Food, Beverages, Personal Care, Household Cleaners and Insect Control.
Susan Baggott
Sue is an expert in consumer and technical/new product innovation. She has a proven track record of uncovering deep consumer insights and creatively translating them into new product concept, brand positioning and technology breakthroughs that deliver global business success. Her extensive background has also made her a dynamic moderator, highly effective at probing to glean new insights or opportunities for strengthening brands. Prior to joining SpencerHall in 2002, Sue was an Associate Director of Global Research and Development at Procter & Gamble with extensive international experience in consumer understanding, strategic new business development and brand equity positioning. Some of Sue's product development breakthroughs recently in the news include: Cover Girl 'Outlast'/ Max Factor 'Lipfinity' Lip Color and Pampers Customized Premium Diaper Line Up.
Pam Branam
Pam Branam joined SpencerHall as Business Development Director in 2007. She has over 16 years of corporate sales and sales management experience, which includes building not only relationships with key clients but friendships. Pams extensive business knowledge and market experience makes her very adept at understanding client needs, and developing creative solutions to meet those needs. Pam has a proven track record of excellence, working with companies such as Novell, Cisco Systems and Symbol Technologies. She has a fierce commitment to client satisfaction.
Cynthia Caffoe
Cyndi has a strong base of experience in leveraging consumer insights to create new products. After earning an MBA from Cleveland State University, Cyndi spent 11 years in product development at Royal Appliance Mfg. Co. The majority of her career involved leading various cross-functional teams with a proven track record of identifying, developing and marketing innovative consumer products. She was also part of the team that helped develop and refine the new product introduction process at Royal. Cyndi's first hand experience in consumer understanding and extensive product development background makes her a highly effective moderator.
Dr. Karen Calloway
Dr. Calloway is a Consumer Psychologist who specializes in qualitative research design and analysis, focusing on creating environments and questions that reveal the true basis for consumer behavior, in children and adults. Karen has over 4000 hours of experience in individual, group, and family therapy with both children and adults. She has had extensive clinical training and is certified in Gestalt Therapy, Meditation and The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Karen has worked with a number of elementary and secondary schools, various health associations, and has lectured at The University of Cincinnati and The Union Institute.
Helen Hanlon
Helen is a marketing research professional who brings to SpencerHall over 13 years of experience covering a vast array of research methods. She earned her degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Riverside. Shortly after graduation, she began her career at PacifiCare Health Systems as a research analyst and gained valuable experience with customer feedback studies and new services development in domestic markets. Six years later, she was recruited by Hewlett-Packard to bring consumer insight and research proficiency to their Digital Imaging product development team. At HP, Helen advanced to the market research expert position for the WW Consumer Marketing Division and led international research studies, including customer tracking, market share and segmentation.
Janine Lossing
Janine approaches qualitative research and innovation from the mindset of a true brand marketing professional. After receiving her MBA from Duke, Janine worked on the advertising agency side of the business, working closely on new product innovation for Procter & Gamble, helping launch products such as Swiffer, Femstat and Dryel. Janine has xperience with a wide range of products, from health care to food to beauty care, targeting women, men and children of all ages.
Victor Mills
Victor Mills joined SpencerHall in 1999, and has led consulting, innovation and research projects across a wide variety of industries, including consumer package goods, healthcare and financial services. He has a proven ability to 'connect' with end users, regardless of industry or topic, and uncover new insights that form the basis for truly breakthrough thinking. A patented inventor, Victor also has strong creative skills and is highly effective leading teams through SpencerHallšs innovation processes. Prior to joining SpencerHall, Victor developed his marketing and innovation skills over ten years of progressively demanding brand management roles with companies such as The Minute Maid Company, Ameritech, Block Drug and RJR Nabisco.
Cynthia Rosen
As Operations Manager, Cynthia coordinates the estimating and scheduling of research projects to ensure that project timing and market location combine to provide exceptional results for our clients. Cynthia's previous professional experience includes 18 years in Advertising Print Production and 11 years with Deloitte, where she was responsible for scheduling Strategy and Operations consultants on client projects in order to meet revenue targets at a regional level.
Heather Schneider
As Research Manager, Heather oversees the execution of SpencerHall's qualitative research, ensuring that facilities deliver well-screened respondents, on time and budget. Heather's background includes 10+ years at Cintas Corporation, where she managed qualitative and quantitative study design and implementation, including the creation of online data collection.
Lara Kudryk Traska
Lara joined SpencerHall with over 12 years experience developing and implementing brand strategies, creating brand positionings, leading new product design from idea generation to product launch, and designing and conducting qualitative consumer research. After receiving her MBA from Georgetown University, Lara joined Procter & Gamble's Beauty Care division, where she worked on the Vidal Sassoon, Olay and Cover Girl brands. Additionally, Lara's moderating and consulting experience spans large multi-nationals as well as small entrepreneurial start-ups across a range of industries including cosmetics and personal care, fashion/textiles, alternative health, and financial services.
Carole Walters
Carole's experience at SpencerHall includes a wide range of research and innovation projects ranging from fashion, food & nutrition, technology and personal care. She plays a key role in product ideation and innovation and has a real aptitude in uncovering the emotional insights that are most meaningful to strengthening brand connections. Additionally, Carole's 20+ years' background in interactive and new media provides a valuable perspective for meaningful innovation. Prior to joining SpencerHall in 2000, Carole was Senior Vice President of Media and Interactive at Northlich, where she worked on interactive strategy and implementation for Fidelity Investments, Mead, and Procter and Gamble, with an emphasis on understanding consumer interface. Carole has extensive experience with technology focused respondents.
